Richard Hunt, MD, FACEP is an emergency physician who developed and led the 2015 White House Stop the Bleed campaign launch. He is currently Senior Medical Advisor for National Healthcare Preparedness Programs in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness & Response at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. He served as Director for Medical Preparedness and Response Policy, National Security Council, at The White House from 2013-2015.
